New in stock, our dark grey granite setts. When dry these setts present as a very dark grey, deepening to black when wet.

Sawn edged, with a flamed surface, these extremely precise setts are perfect for creating a contemporary modern feel in your design. When laying together we recommend a joint of not more than 5mm.

These setts would make a perfect edge detail to your new patio, being so precise in nature they would sit beautifully alongside our range of porcelain paving.

A very robust stone, this granite would be also perfect for driveways (due to its thickness).

Our Dark Grey Granite is sawn on the sides with a square edge profile. The surface is sawn and flamed – offering excellent slip resistance.

Characteristically this Indian Granite will present as charcoal in colour with a mixture white quartz striations and black flecks. Occasionally some very small amounts of iron oxide may be present. When wet this stone will present as almost black in colour.

These are positive attributes that enhance the appearance of stone.

Our paving, setts & steps are subject to dimensional tolerances of +/- 2mm.

We do not recommend that these products be butt jointed.

We strongly recommend that this granite be primed using a suitable bond bridge prior to being laid to the mortar bedding layer

We recommend a minimum gap of 5mm. These gaps should then be grouted with a suitable external grout or with Flowpoint.

We recommend mixing paving from crates prior to installation.

Always order an additional 10% to allow for wastage, cuts and the occasional piece which you may not like the look of.
